YOUNGSTERS at Pontefract’s Orchard Head Children’s Centre donned fancy dress for a special parade to raise cash for Comic Relief.

Children and their families walked from the centre to Orchard Head park and through the Nevison estate before enjoying a party after the parade.

Lisa Clipsham, from the centre, said: “We invited local families to take part in the sponsored event and staff and families joined together to celebrate the community and at the same time raise money for this worthy cause.

“We would like to thank everyone who took part, fun was had by all.”
