Rock star Chris Wolstenholme will join fundraisers at an annual cricket match in aid of a cystic fibrosis charity.
The Muse musician will join Sue Marley and volunteers in raising cash for Becci’s Find a Cure Memorial Fund.
The match will take place on September 1 at Ackworth Cricket Club in memory of Mrs Marley’s daughter Rebecca, who died from the disease at 27 years old.
Mrs Marley said: “We want to help find a cure and try to prevent other parents and families having to face this heartbreak and if that happens in our lifetime at least Rebecca’s death won’t have been in vain.”
This is the fourth match held at the club and the fun starts at noon.
Entry is free and other activities include food, drinks, bouncy castle and an auction.
