Pupils at Kippax North School found out what it takes to be an elite cyclist at a Tour de France inspired event, days before the race came to Yorkshire.

The year five students joined youngsters from three other schools at the Leeds Rose Bowl event last Wednesday to learn the science behind the performance of a Tour de France cyclist.
