Youngsters made a splash to mark the end of term when they soaked fellow students and teachers at an annual water fight.
Streethouse Junior and Infant School students and staff saw in the summer by dousing each other at their traditional wet and wild party.
Children brandished their water guns and took aim at their teachers while staff retaliated with hosepipes and jugs of water.
Charlotte Clerehugh, headteacher, said: “It’s an unusual way to finish the year off and as you can imagine, the children love it because they get to squirt their teachers with water guns.”
The water fight has been a fixture in the school’s calendar for several years and celebrates year six students leaving for high school.
