Swimmers Thomas Raddings and Sarah Shutt have won five medals between them at the British Down’s Syndrome Swimming Championships.
Thomas, 15, of Ackworth, and Sarah, 38, of Able2 Pontefract Special Olympics Swim Squad produced outstanding performances championships in High Wycombe.
As well as their medal haul, Sarah also set a new European and world record in the 100m freestyle women’s senior master class category.
Thomas won gold in the men’s 50m freestyle, silver in the 25m backstroke and bronze in 25m freestyle. Sarah also won silver in the women’s 25m breast stroke and bronze in 100m freestyle.
