Welcome to the new-look website of the Pontefract and Castleford Express.

We’ve re-launched the site to improve our service to you, our readers.

We welcome your views on our new website and so we have compiled a short online survey asking what you think of the site. If you can spare a few minutes please click the ‘Website survey’ above right and complete the short questionnaire.

We’re still working on some of the functions and content, which is why we are in ‘beta’, so if you find anything missing then please bear with us while the finishing touches are applied.

We hope you’ll find the site easier to navigate, and over the coming months we’ll be making further improvements.

Commenting on stories is still being worked on, but when it’s ready you should find it easier.

  Our Classified websites (Photos, Motors, Jobs and Property Today) use cookies to ensure you get the correct local newspaper branding and content when you visit them. These cookies store no personally identifiable information.
- Grapeshot ►
  
  We use Grapeshot as a contextual targeting technology, allowing us to create custom groups of stories outside out of our usual site navigation. Grapeshot stores the categories of story you have been exposed to. Their privacy policy and opt out option can be accessed here.

  Our partner for Newspaper subscriptions online stores data from the forms you complete in these to increase the usability of the site and enhance user experience.
