A community health trust has won a national accreditation recognising its high standard of customer service to patients.
South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is one of only three across the country to gain accreditation with the national Customer Service Excellence standard.
Steven Michael, trust chief executive, said: “Providing excellent customer service is at the core of the trust.
“This award recognises the passion, dedication and hard work that all our staff show every day to ensure that people who use our services, their carers and families are getting the best care.
“This is a fantastic achievement, but there are still areas in which we need to develop and we are committed to improving and achieving high standards.
“As the report noted, it’s about how we can do it better by working together.”
