members of the Rotary Club of Horbury and Ossett Pheonix are hoping to attract thousands of people to their 21st Horbury Show later this month.

This year, a Battle of Britain Hurricane plane is expected to fly over the town.

And other attractions include a new family circus workshop with the chance to try juggling, unicycling and tightrope walking, birds of prey, ferret racing, classic cars and cheerleading performances.

There will also be a dog show, performances from Horbury Victoria Brass Band, a traditional Punch and Judy Show and dry stone walling and wood carving displays.

A range of craft, trade and activity stalls will line the park, alongside fairground attractions and donkey rides.

The event will be held in Carr Lodge Park on Sunday, June 25 from 11am until 4.30pm.
