Festival traffic set to cause delays

Delays are expected on the roads today (Saturday) as the Crooked Ways festival gets underway.

Arriva Yorkshire said the 135, 136, 138 and 410 bus services would be running more slowly than usual due to extra festival traffic.

Internationally-acclaimed bands are making their way to Pontefract Park to take part in the second annual festival.

The Enemy, The Pigeon Detectives, Peter Hook and the Light, and Grandmaster Flash are just a few of the acts headlining the main stage at today’s event.
