Valuable bird baths swiped from garden

Two bird baths worth several hundred pounds have been swiped from a garden in Pontefract.

The 200-year-old stone ornaments were stolen from a property in Knottingley Road between 3pm on April 10 and 9am on April 11.

Both bird baths are around 3-4ft tall and one had a square base with a circular column and circular bath on top.

The other had a similar base with a square bath on top.

Anyone with information is asked to call PCSO 431 Paul Dobson at Pontefract and Knottingley neighbourhood policing team on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
