VIDEO: Wimbledon champ visits school

Wimbledon tennis champion Jonny Marray gave pupils at Brigshaw High School a smashing time when he visited this week.

Jonny, who won the doubles championships with his partner Frederik Nielsen in 2012, shared tennis tips and donated two Acer tablets to the school.

Date:17th September 2013.'Brigshaw High School, Allerton Bywater, had a visited from Sheffield born Jonny Marray, Wimbledon Men's Doubles champion 2012, where he past on some of his tennis skills to the schools tennis team along with making a presentation of two Acer tablets after the school enter a competition with the winning prize two tablets and a personal appearance by the tennis star. John Nee, leader for sport at the school, said: “We are thrilled that Jonny visited the school. It’s a terrific start to the school year for our sports students to meet a Wimbledon champion and the students really enjoyed the coaching session.”
