THE shortlists for this year’s Wakefield District Business Awards have been decided.
Our panel of judges consisted of Wakefield Council chief executive Joanne Roney, managing partner of main sponsors Chadwick Lawrence Solicitors Jeremy Garside, and Danny Matharu of Hillrich and Yorkshire Business Conferences.
They said: “This year’s categories were tough to narrow down to final shortlists and it was even harder to determine the winners as there were a number of stand-out entries in every area. We look forward to everyone celebrating their successes at the finals event on June 20.”
All the shortlisted companies - and any other individuals or organisations - should contact Sarah Lister on 01422 260293 for tickets to the awards final at the Cedar Court Hotel. Letters have been sent out and the deadline is June 13.
Voting continues for the Employee of the Year in this week’s Express and the announcement of the Businessperson of the Year will be made on the night of the event.
