Thoughtful teenagers have organised an all-singing-all-dancing showstopper in aid of a children’s charity.

Airedale Academy students Danielle Jackson and Chloe and Lewis Simpson – all 15 – have organised a performaning arts concert to raise funds for Cash For Kids.

The trio started planning the event in September and are urging residents to help pack out the Phoenix Theatre when the curtain goes up on their show on October 24.

Danielle said: “I was talking to one of the organisers of Cash For Kids at an event and they were telling me about what they do. I’ve always been supportive of charities that help children, and as it’s our last last year at school, we thought would give something back to the commuity,

“It’s an amazing experience for us and we’d love for the community to see first-hand what year 11 students at Airedale Academy are like.”

Tickets cost £3 in advance and £3.50 on the door. Email xxdanni_1998xx@hotmail.co.uk or contact the theatre on 01977 664566 to buy tickets.
