Musical youngsters helped patients at Pontefract’s Prince of Wales Hospice get into the festive spirit when they performed a carol concert.

Children from Pontefract’s Halfpenny Lane Junior and Infant School’s Glee Club performed at the hospice on Monday.

Amanda Jubb, hospice fundraiser, said: “Having the children perform at the hospice was fantastic and the patients and staff really enjoyed it.

“There were lots of patients who came to the foyer to enjoy the concert and the children even had some of them dancing.”

Keira Beanlands, Lucy Millard, Millie Hopkinson and Navay Kaur, from the school’s Glee Club, thanked the hospice for allowing them to perform there.
