PONTEFRACT Castle is the picturesque setting on Sunday for a day of fun to celebrate St George's Day.
Civil War re-enactment displays – including cannons – falconry and children’s activities are just a handful of the attractions at the event on Sunday April 20 between 11am and 4pm.
Pontefract Heritage Group has organised the event, which also includes arts and crafts stalls, tours of the underground magazine, the Queen’s Own Ravens from Knaresborough and Farmer Copley’s hog roast.
There is a free park and ride from Pontefract Park and admission costs £1 adult and 50p concessions.
