PUPILS at The King's School in Pontefract were warned about the dangers of taking drugs in a special assembly.
Stephen Brown, from organisation Narcanon, visted the Mill Hill Lane school to give a talk on drug awareness.

Year eight pupils Bethan Webster, Melissa Godfrey and Abigail Prudlue – who listened to the talk – said: “We personally feel that we have learned a lot from this experience and are very aware of the conquences of taking drugs.

“Furthermore, we understand how to deal with situations involving drugs, thanks to his stories. We hope in the future that he helps influence pupils at other schools.”
