Liam signs new Tigers' deal

LIAM Higgins this week extended his stay at the Jungle.
The 25-year-old prop, who was out of contract at the end of the season, has agreed a one-year deal for 2009.

It's reward for a solid year for the Doncaster-born front-row, who has been one of the Tigers most consistent pack performers since joining arriving from Hull FC at the end of 2006.
Head coach Terry Matterson said: "Liam's gone well for us and I think he's still got his best rugby in front of him.
