Lions led 30-2 at the break thanks to excellent attacking play and strong defensive work.
Sam Candlin was outstanding, despite carrying a knee injury. Charlie Daley, who scored a hat-trick of tries, and Aiden Lister were also outstanding in defence.
Packmen Liam Jackson, Liam Goodaire, Luke Briscoe and Jack Nicholson were also big contributors to what was essentially a magnificent team effort.
Lions never looked back after scoring three tries in the opening ten minutes from Daley, Jackson and Goodaire, with Jackson adding two conversions. With Brad Wood, Nicholson and Briscoe to the fore, Lions weathered a spell of Wibsey pressure before Candlin and Goodaire paved the way for Daley to cross for his second try.
Nicholson's splendid run then led to Jackson crashing over for his second before Goodaire grabbed his second touchdown and Jackson added a touchline goal.
Matty Ducker had an effort disallowed before Wibsey opened their account with a penalty goal.
Wibsey scored a try early in the second-half but Lions soon replied when crisp handling by Josh Riding, Rhys Bashforth and Briscoe saw Jackson put in Daley for his hat-trick.
Candlin then grabbed two tries, both converted by Jackson, before Nathan Lorimer plunged over for Featherstone's final score.
Coaches Dave Raybould and Graham Johnson were full of praise for all Featherstone's players in a match that was sponsored by Richard Taylor and Clive Tennant. Lions are also grateful to sponsors Morley Waste Traders and Pallet and Box Repairs, of Featherstone, for their help throughout the season.
