FORMER Castleford Tigers football manager Michael Robinson
has joined near-neighbours Wakefield Wildcats in a consultancy role.
The Australian has been drafted in by Wildcats' head coach John Kear, who explained: "Michael has great connections with the NRL and he has also done some consultancy work within the community trust.
"There are lots of players who will be coming to the end of their contracts at the end of the coming season and we need to make sure that we keep them or find other players so Michael's expertise will be invaluable."
Mr Robinson spent almost three seasons at the Jungle before parting company with the club last month.
