Former Scotland international Paul Telfer is in pre-season training with Leeds United and has joined the club on their tour of Ireland.

The defender is well known to boss Gary McAllister, after playing at Celtic for two seasons under his former Elland Road team-mate Gordon Strachan.

Telfer also played for Coventry and Southampton before joining Celtic.
