Bruce Percy, Richard Vigars and Richard Wild (35 not out) were the chief run-makers in the defending champions' 172-8 total.
Gary Bright picked up 4-33 for the visitors, who were dismantled by Stuart Bellwood (3-35), Percy (2-24) and Vigars (2-22).

Smith cracked four fours and two sixes in 47 while Parker hit six boundaries and three maximums in a hard-hitting 44.

Four wickets each for Arunava Banerjee and Simon Abdy were in vain as Fairburn were dismissed for 141. Banerjee top-scored with 44 and Si Abdy hit 22 from number ten but their efforts with bat and ball were not enough against a home side inspired by a knock of 95 from opener Dave Whitehurst.

Tom Holmes (26) and Matt Daniel (22) might have won it for Whitley but for some needless run-outs. Nathan Reeson made 25 for the home side, who were all out for 132 (chasing 141 to win) and Martin Hudson claimed 5-40 from 14 overs, four of which were maidens.
Division Three (West) leaders Allerton Bywater slipped to only their second defeat of the season at home to Darton seconds.
Dave Whelan (3-25), Scott Taylor (3-27) and Steve Clowes (2-18) bowled lovely spells to limit Darton to 128.
Opener Tony Stuckey marked his first appearance of the year with a patient half-century as Allerton reached 104-4 with 11 overs left.
But left-arm bowler Sam Hawley bamboozled the middle-order and tail to take 4-11 from eight overs - and leave the hosts' reply six runs shy of the target.
