Tigers aim to send Wolves packing

CASTLEFORD will look to put Friday's derby defeat by the Rhinos behind them by putting the boot into Warrington's top-four bid.
Sunday's clash at the Jungle features two sides smarting from defeat - the Tigers went down at Leeds and Warrington shipped three tries in the final eight minutes to lose at home to Hull KR.
That was a huge blow to Warrington's aim of hanging on to fourth and Cas boss Terry Matterson wants to pile on the misery by sending the Wolves packing for the second time this season.
Honours are even between the sides this term, a last-minute touchdown from Louis Anderson condemned Cas to a 34-31 home defeat in March but revenge came at the Halliwell Jones Stadium in May when four tries in the final 12 minutes secured a 36-28 success.
Said Matterson: "We've had two great encounters with them, two really entertaining games. Both sides play open footy and hopefully we'll end up on the right side of the ledger on Sunday.
"It probably hasn't helped us that they got a kick up the backside at the weekend. Until then they'd probably been the form team over the past couple of months. They've plenty to play for, probably more than us in that respect, but there's still a flicker of hope we can get off the bottom of the table and with two home games to finish, who says we can't do that."
Punished
"If we can stop their go-forward, create some pressure by holding the ball and play down the right end, we'll give ourselves a good chance."
Cas shipped ten tries to lose 54-12 last Friday, including two with hooker Scott Moore in the sin-bin.
Moore was yellow-carded after a late challenge on Leeds skipper Kevin Sinfield and has played his last game for the club after being hit with a two-match ban at an RFL disciplinary hearing on Tuesday.
Said Matterson: "We know you can't challenge the kicker. It cost us any chance of beating Huddersfield and probably cost us a chance of beating Leeds. We did get back to within four points but the work we had to do in the first half took a toll in the second."
Moore, who scored one try in 17 appearances, has spent the season on loan from Saints and joins Huddersfield on a similar agreement next season.
His suspension limits boss Matterson's options for Sunday's clash with Warrington at the Jungle.
Cas came through the trip to Headingley injury-free but Brent Sherwin, who missed out with a foot injury, remains a doubt. That could prompt a recall for Michael Korkidas, fit-again Ryan Boyle or Adam Fletcher to face the Wolves.
Matterson will name his 19-strong squad later today.
Meanwhile, Ben Cockayne looks to have turned his back on the Tigers by agreeing a new deal with Hull KR.
Castleford refused to comment over reports the ex-Doncaster utility was set to stay at Craven Park.
With 'silly-season' rumours rife, the club continues to be linked with a crop of players, both home and abroad.
Wakefield half-back Kyle Wood, currently on loan at Doncaster, Sheffield Eagles centre James Ford and ex-Leeds and Wakefield pack man Chris Feather, now at Bradford, are all in talks with the Tigers, if reports are to be believed.
Reserve team forward Matty Duckworth remains in the trauma unit at the Heartlands Hospital, Birmingham, following a serious car crash last week.
Castleford's 2009 season tickets went on sale on Monday, initially for renewals only.
