AN injury time goal by Johnny Howson booked Leeds United's first trip to Wembley for 12 years.
They beat Carlile 2-0 at Brunton Park on Thursday night to overturn a 2-1 deficit from the first leg.

United, fielding the same 11 who had lost on Monday at Elland Road, were given a great start when Howson scored after exchanging passes with Dougie Freedman after just 10 minutes.

Both Beckford and Freedman tested Carlisle keeper Keiran Westwood and Bradley Johnson headed against the bar as United held the upper hand.

The home side's best chance came on the stroke of half time when Casper Ankergren saved with his legs a shot from Marc Bridge-Wilkinson.

The game looked to be heading for extra time and possibly penalties when Howson hit the winner in injury time.

Leeds now play either Doncaster or Southend in the final on Sunday May 25.
