FULL-BACK Richard Owen will miss Castleford Tigers’ trip to Widnes next Monday after picking up a one-match suspension.

Owen, who played on the wing for the Tigers against Leeds Rhinos at Headingley last Sunday, was sin-binned in the game for throwing punches at Leeds’ Carl Ablett and was subsequently charged by the RFL with a Grade B punching offence.

He has submitted an early guilty plea in relation to the offence, which means he is suspended for one game.
