Andy Finn has Rovers talks

FEATHERSTONE Rovers coach Daryl Powell (pictured) will have talks with back-rower Andy Finn who played his second trial match for the club against Doncaster.

Former Warrington Wolves under 20s player Finn played at loose-forward against Doncaster after making his Featherstone debut as a substitute in the New Year’s Day game against Hunslet Hawks.

“I thought Andy Finn was pretty strong against Doncaster,” said Powell.

“He worked hard and put in some good shots defensively. We’ll sit down and talk to him and take it from there.

“Potentially next week we should be able to do something on that.”
