Featherstone Rovers booked their place in Monday’s Tetley’s Challenge Cup fourth round draw by trouncing amateurs Thatto Heath 76-6 at Big Fellas Stadium.

It was a Sunday stroll for Rovers who were 18-0 up after just nine minutes and led 42-6 at the break.

Their 13 tries included a first-half hat-trick by Andy Kain.

Kain’s half-back partner Liam Finn scored a try and kicked 12 goals. His only miss came in the dying seconds from the touchline.

Man of the match Greg Worthington, Tom Hodson and Matt James each bagged two tries and Ben Hellewell, Jack Ormondroyd and Dave Scott also joined in the try spree.

St Helens side Thatto were 30-0 down before Corey Lee scored their solitary try.
