Joint manager Duncan Bray has given up his role at Pontefract Collieries.
After three seasons at the helm as joint manager Bray has resigned for personal reasons.
He has had a successful time at Ponte, both as a player and latterly as joint manager, leading the club to promotion back to the NCE Premier Division after 16 years. But off the field Bray has a senior role in the NHS, which has seen him spending most of his working week in London. That, coupled with the time demands of a young family, has resulted in him finding it increasingly difficult to give time to running a football club.
Ponte would like to place on record their thanks and gratitude to Bray for everything he has done for the club on and off the field. Everyone sends him their good wishes for the future.
Nick Handley will now take control of management of the football at the club, supported by Russ Eagle.
