Glasshoughton Welfare and Pontefract Collieries football clubs are set to have their crowd swelled when they will be visited by the Groundhoppers on Friday.

The nationwide organised group pick out different leagues and visit as many grounds as possible over a period of a weekend and they have chosen the Baris NCE League over Easter, basing themselves at the Cedar Court Hotel, Wakefield.

Several games in the league have therefore adjusted their kick-off times to accommodate the Groundhoppers, who are set to start with Glasshoughton Welfare’s home game with Nostell MW, which kicks off at 11am on Friday.

They will then make the short journey to watch Pontefract Collieries against Selby Town (1.45pm) and go on to Hemsworth MW against Knaresborough Town (4.30pm).
