GLASSHOUGHTON Welfare manager Graham Hodder has left the Baris NCE Premier Division club following a run of defeats and poor form.

Hodder, who took over from Craig Elliott in June, tendered his resignation with immediate effect following last Saturday’s 3-0 loss at Pickering Town, which made it seven games without a win for Welfare.

Glasshoughton have placed on record their appreciation for all of Graham’s efforts in what was always going to be a difficult season following promotion then the loss of many of last year’s players and they have wished him well.

The search for his replacement begins in earnest and anyone having an interest in the position is advised to initially contact club chairman Phil Riding on philriding@hotmail.com stating experience, location and if at all possible to include a CV by 5pm today (Friday).

Glasshoughton currently sit in 15th place in the Premier Division table and have a home game on Saturday against Maltby Main, who are one place and two points below them (kick-off 3pm).
