Castleford’s Lockside Angling Club held their first-ever charity fishing match in aid of Yorkshire Air Ambulance on a stretch of canal in the town.

The match raised £300 and was won by Bryan Cunningham with a weight of 4lb.

He was presented with the James Burke Appreciation Trophy which was founded by club members as a thank you to secretary James Burke for his hard work in single handedly running the club for the past eight years.
