The annual Diane Norton Breast Cancer Research fund-raising angling match will be held this month.

The matches are organised by Arthur James Norton, of Knottingley, to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Arthur’s partner Diane has cancer.

There will be a match at Owl Barn Fishery, Haugh Lane, South Kirkby WF9 3JP on Saturday, September 26.

Arthur has booked 21 pegs but that could be increased to 32 pegs on the day,

There will be full English breakfast from 8 to 8.30am followed by the peg draw from 9.30am to 10am.

The match is scheduled for 11am to 4pm.

The cost will be £25.50 all included.
