CASTLEFORD’S professional cruiserweight boxer Nathan ‘The Outlaw’ Owens is back in action at John Charles Centre, South Leeds Stadium, Leeds, on Sunday, December 9.

Owens (pictured) takes on Preston’s Paul Morris who is ranked one above Nathan in the British ratings.

Owens will be aiming to retain his unbearten record in what has all the makings of a cracking contest.

Owens said: “I have done everything that has been expected of me in training.

“It’s been punishing at times but the intensity in training has increased to another level. I will not take any opponent for granted and will train to win whoever my manager puts in front of me”.

His manager/trainer Keith Walker said: “I wouldn’t swap this fighter for any in the world. He’s a perfect student of the sport and his relentless in his approach to succeed and to be a proud champion in the future. He’s grown in confidence and matured so much over the last 12 months. His development is well on course and we expect a good fight on December 9.

Owens is grateful to sponsors Tartan Cafe, Afs, Ultimate Physiques and Big John Legends Gym.
