With just two weeks to go before the Tour de France grand depart, Featherstone Road Club under eights rider Noah Scott-Wright continues to impress.

Despite a mishap at the start which left him at the back of the field, Noah recovered to work his way up and eventually finished a very close second in the under eights race at the Malton Festival of Cycling on Sunday. The winner Joel Hurt and third-placed Adam Makerpiece were both from Stockton Wheelers CC.

Combined with podium placings at both York and Bradford in the previous week this moves Noah into a top twenty spot in British Cycling’s 2014 National Road /Track rankings.
