SECTION A title contenders Kippax Central B suffered a setback with a 6-4 home defeat against Elmet A in Castleford and District Snooker League.

Kippax are eight points adrift of leaders Garforth WMC B who beat Garforth WMC C 8-2.

Pontefract Bowling A and Smawthorne B are level on points at the top of Section B after recording 8-2 victories against Rockware B and Townville A respectively.
