CASTLEFORD Lock Lane ARLFC stage their annual junior nines gala this weekend.

The two-day gala, recognised as one of the best in Yorkshire, will feature 360 players from 30 teams from throughout the county.

Teams from under eight to under 12 levels will compete in a tournament that promises to be the club’s biggest and best yet.

Current Super League players will be in attendance during the two action-packed days on Saturday and Sunday.

Attractions will also include bouncy castles, tombola, raffles, various stalls, a professional photographer, barbecue and a mascot race which will include mascots from Castleford Tigers, Featherstone Rovers and Captain Papa from Papa’s Fish Restaurant.

The gates open each day at 9.30am with the first matches starting at 10am.
