Castleford Tigers will be without Scott Moore against Wigan Warriors this Friday after the hooker picked up a one match ban from the RFL’s disciplinary committee.
Moore was also fined £300 after admitting making Grade B dangerous contact to the limbs of Mose Masoe during the Tigers’ game against St Helens at Langtree Park last Friday.
Two St Helens players have also been banned after being found guilty of infringements in the same game by an independent RFL Operational Rules Tribunal.
Travis Burns has been banned for one match and fined £300 for a careless high tackle on Justin Carney in the 23rd minute. Burns pleaded not guilty to the original charge of making a Grade B reckless tackle but was found guilty of making a careless tackle.
The tribunal handed down a two-match ban to St Helens prop Kyle Amor for making Grade C dangerous contact to the head, neck or spinal column of Jordan Tansey in the 60th minute. Amor, who pleaded guilty, was sin-binned for the offence during the game and was also fined £300.
