Castleford Tigers star Rangi Chase has retained his place in the England Rugby League squad.

Half-back Chase has made a strong start to the season despite missing two games through suspension and is part of England’s 30-man Elite Training Squad set to start its preparations in World Cup year.

Also selected are former Featherstone Rovers players Zak Hardaker and Ben Cockayne, former Featherstone Lions juniors Rob Burrow and Tom Briscoe and ex-Lock Lane junior Gareth Ellis.

England will start their 2013 campaign with the International Origin match against the Exiles on Friday, June 14 at The Halliwell Jones Stadium, Warrington and will take on France in a warm-up game before the Rugby League World Cup gets underway on Saturday, October 26, when England take on Australia at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff.
