Castleford Tigers head coach Daryl Powell has named his 19-man squad to take on Widnes Vikings at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle on Friday night (kick-off 8pm).

Powell makes three changes to the squad that claimed victory over Leeds Rhinos at Magic Weekend with Ben Roberts, Joel Monaghan and Kevin Larroyer replacing Alex Foster, Junior Moors and Jake Webster.

He said: “We have obviously had an experience so far with Easter of managing the short turnaround, so we’ll do something similar.

“Obviously last time we didn’t get the result on the Monday so the focus is on getting two performances so we’ll stay in a hotel on Sunday evening to give the players the best possible chance to rest and recover and get ready for what will be a tough game on Monday.

“I’m looking forward to the challenge it presents and the players will be ready for it.”
