CASTLEFORD Tigers have quashed rumours over the future of stand-off Rangi Chase.
The Tigers insist the 24-year-old New Zealander (pictured) is not for sale.
Chase, who played for the Maori against England last October, has been linked with a move to Hull, who are searching for a replacement for Shaun Berrigan.
Chase signed a contract extension with the Tigers in 2009, keeping him tied to the club until at least the end of the 2013 season, and chief executive Richard Wright insists he is going nowhere.
“There has been no offers or communications from Hull FC or any other club, regarding the services of Rangi,” he said.
“He’s very happy and excited by the half-back partnership he now has with Danny Orr.
“I am not sure where these rumours come from but we are all focused on the start of the season and we will not be distracted.”
