FORMER Wakefield forwards Brett Ferres and Paul Jackson will make their Castleford comebacks against their old club in Sunday’s pre-season game at Rapid Solicitors Stadium (3.30 kick-off).

They both missed the end of last season. Ferres (pictured) needed shoulder surgery following an injury sustained during the Carnegie Challenge Cup semi-final in August and 33-year-old Jackson required an operation on a hand injury in the closed season while also recovering from a back injury.

Former Castleford High School pupil Ferres is named in the second row and Jackson is on the bench.

Castleford’s full squad for Sunday’s game is:

1 Richard Owen; 2 Ryan Shaw, 3 Josh Griffin, 4 Joe Arundel, 5 Kirk Dixon; 6 Rangi Chase, 7 Danny Orr; 8 Jake Emmitt, 9 Ryan Hudson, 10 Nathan Massey, 11 Oliver Holmes, 12 Brett Ferres, 13 Ryan McGoldrick; 14 Steve Nash, 15 Lee Mitchell, 16 Daryl Clark, 17 Adam Milner, 18 James Clare, 19 Stuart Jones, 20 Paul Jackson, 21 John Davies, 22 Jordan Thompson.
