PROBIZ founder Feisal Nahaboo (pictured) has described the Challenge Cup fourth round tie between neighbours Featherstone Rovers and Castleford Tigers as “a miracle.”
Probiz are the main shirt sponsors for both Rovers and Tigers who meet at Bigfellas Stadium on Saturday, April 14 (3pm) in a tie that will be televised live on Sky Sports. Probiz will be avertising its brand across the entire stadium at the game.
Mr Nahaboo said: “As a company we couldn’t ask for any more. I’m delighted that Sky Sports have chosen to broadcast this game. It’s the logical decision and presents a fantastic opportunity for all parties involved. It is a local derby and a shock is potentially on the cards. It is also a great game for the neutral.
“Whilst we don’t want one of our teams to be knocked out of the competition, it’s a miracle to see the local rivals compete at a key stage of the tournament on international television. The match is being played at a timely moment where Cas have dropped form, whilst Fev are surging towards a possible domestic treble. The match played at Fev in front of an expected 7,000 sell-out will be a leveller and I expect a very close match. Cas are favourites and rightfully so, but this is the cup and if there is to be a giant killing in this round, then we need to look no further.
“It will be an emotional day for myself. Probiz wishes both clubs success and a fair and competitive match. The game will be played in front of two sets of passionate fans who will set the scene for the ‘tie of the round’.
“No matter the result, both clubs will continue to receive our support. For Cas, this is the chance to re-establish a disappointing season to date, whilst Fev can make a point that they are ready for Super League even without the budget to bring in higher profile players, which clubs can do as Super League teams.
“My verdict: a match seeing both clubs lead during the course of the game with one or two tries telling the difference. Good luck Cas and Fev. Let the best or luckiest team win on the day.”
