FORMER Castleford star and current junior coach at the club Lee Crooks is launching his new autobiography at the Probiz Coliseum on Tuesday.
Billed as the most candid, controversial and colourful life story in Rugby League, From Hull to Hell and Back is published on Monday.
The 350-page hardback book, providing an insight into Crooks’ 19 Great Britain appearances and club duty with Hull FC, Leeds, Castleford, Balmain and Western Suburbs will be launched in the marquee at the Probiz Coliseum when guests will include ex-coaches Malcolm Reilly, John Joyner and Mick Morgan plus former players Grant Anderson and Steve Norton.
Starting at 8pm, Lee will be signing copies of the book, priced £15.99. Purchases on the night must be with cash.
Published by Scratching Shed Publishers, the book is written in association with Hull FC fan Vince Groak, with a foreword by former Hull FC teammate, the legendary Australian half-back Peter Sterling.
