Four players have been charged with punching in the fall-out from the brawl that erupted in the second half of Hull’s 52-0 Super League win over Castleford Tigers last Friday.

Hull forwards Danny Tickle and Mark O’Meley, and Castleford second rower Weller Hauraki are all facing grade B offences, which carry bans of one or two matches, while Castleford winger Justin Carney could be banned for up to three matches after being charged with a grade C offence.

Tickle and Hauraki were sent off by referee Steve Ganson while O’Meley and Carney were sin-binned.

O’Meley will appear before the Rugby Football League’s disciplinary committee on Tuesday while the other three players are eligible to submit early-guilty pleas which will result in the minimum punishment.
