CASTLEFORD Tigers have announced that ISC will be the club’s new apparel partner for the 2013 season.
The move sees Cas join fellow Super League heavyweights St Helens, Leeds Rhinos, Warrington Wolves, Wigan Warriors, Hull FC and Catalans Dragons as the Australian-based sports brand continues to increase its presence in the UK.
ISC’s focus on quality, its continually evolving garment technology and proven reputation in developing new and exciting retail ranges for leading rugby clubs in the UK and Australia were highlighted as key motivators in the Tigers’ decision to move from its previous apparel partner, Puma.
The three-year deal between the Super League club and ISC includes the provision of on and off field ranges for the first team, affiliated teams and coaching staff as well as the license to provide a full clothing range for Castleford’s supporters, including replica kits, training wear and an exclusive shirt for members of a new membership scheme which is currently being developed by the club.
The new partnership will also open the door for products from Australian NRL clubs signed with ISC to be made available to fans at the Castleford Tigers shop.
Tigers chief executive Steve Ferres said: “We are delighted to announce our new partnership with ISC as we switch our focus to next season.
“The brand has had proven success with some of our fellow Super League clubs and this is something we are keen to emulate here at the Tigers. We continue to work towards a better and brighter 2013 season with plans for significant changes to be made across the club and this move certainly supports our vision for next season.”
Brett Corrick, ISC chief executive, added: “ISC are indeed extremely excited to become the official apparel partner to the Castleford Tigers. As an organisation we continue to develop high performance apparel for the world’s best athletes, but we also take great pride in developing merchandise ranges for the world’s most passionate fans - and fans don’t come more passionate than those at Castleford, supporting a traditional rugby league team.
“We look forward to sharing the next stage of their journey and helping them continue to build their brand worldwide.”
