Castleford Tigers have agreed a new sponsorship deal with The Singing Chocker at Glasshoughton.

As part of the deal The Singing Chocker, which is part of the nationwide Flaming Grill Pubs chain, will sponsor the Tigers’ assistant coach Danny Orr and they will be one of the logos and messages that will feature on matchday tickets.

Craig Wibberly, manager of the The Singer Chocker, said: “Both Castleford Tigers and The Singing Chocker have very strong and clear family values and therefore it makes perfect sense to enter into this deal.

“Danny Orr is Cas through and through and is somebody who represents our customers very well. We are proud to sponsor an undoubted Castleford legend who is continuing his hard work on the training field alongside head coach Daryl Powell.

“Next season promises to be a very exciting one for Castleford Tigers and we are thrilled to be a part of that.”

Tigers’ commercial director Mark Grattan said: “We are very pleased to welcome The Singing Chocker to our sponsor family for next season.

“They are sure to benefit from being one of the companies that will feature on the matchday tickets as we expect big crowds in what promises to be a huge season for the club.

“Danny Orr is an integral part of what the club is trying to achieve too and we’re that The Singing Chocker have agreed to sponsor him too.”
