CASTLEFORD Tigers have reassured supporters of their commitment to strengthening their squad for next season and have revealed that they have agreed terms with two new recruits.

A statement on the club’s website states that in the last 24 hours the Tigers have agreed terms with two forwards who tie in with the new philosophy under head coach Ian Millward of signing multi-skilled players in the early to mid 20s age bracket.

One of these players Millward has met personally during his scouting trip to Australia – from which he returns over the weekend – and the other potential recruit is based in the UK.

The club plan to announce the identity of the two potential new players as soon as paperwork is complete.
