Castleford Tigers back row forward Weller Hauraki is facing a possible two to three-match suspension if found guilty after being charged by the RFL for striking with his knees.

The 29-year-old was put on report in the 77th minute by referee James Child in Thursday’s 18-18 draw with Hull FC at the KC Stadium.

Hauraki will appear before an independent disciplinary tribunal on Tuesday evening after being charged with the grade C offence following an incident involving Jordan Abdull.

Hauraki, who is joining Salford Red Devils in the 2015 campaign, does not have the option of submitting an early guilty plea.
