CASTLEFORD Tigers have appointed Steve Copley as head of talent identification.

He will start his new role immediately and is already actively building new alliances in the area.
He said: “Castleford is a Super League club that has a clear and defined pathway for the young player to play at the highest level.
“They have proved over the past few years that they can develop young players to compete at Super League Level.
“Cas is very much a player centred club, who offer a great education and athletic development package.”
Steve Gill, head of youth development said: “I have known Steve for quite a while, and I know he will be a great asset to us not only on a recruitment front, but as a club on a whole. He interviewed really well and demonstrated a real high level of technical knowledge about players from all levels of the game.
“He knows the junior game inside out and his enthusiasm and work ethic will be a great addition to our development department.”
