Win tickets to Castleford Tigers’ game against Rhinos

Castleford Tigers continued their superb season with a victory over one of the big guns in Warrington Wolves on Monday and you can be there to see if they can rise to yet another challenge when they take on current leaders Leeds Rhinos at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle next month.

Super League partner Brut is giving Pontefract & Castleford Express readers the chance to win one of two pairs of tickets to the Tigers game against Leeds, which takes place on Thursday, May 8.

Brut has this month launched Fan of Pride, a nationwide search to find rugby league fans that Man Up for their sport and community.

The campaign – now in its second season – will run across all 14 Super League teams with each club crowning their very own Fan of Pride. They will then go forward to represent their club in the national competition, with the overall Brut Fan of Pride winner announced in September.

Brut aim to celebrate the Super League fan and each club’s community, highlighting the importance of the fans, the fantastic atmosphere that they create and the role they play in their local area.

Castleford Tigers are supporting Fan of Pride through their player ambassador, Andy Lynch (pictured right), and he said: “I’m delighted to be backing Fan of Pride. As someone who began their career at Cas I reckon we have the best fans in Super League and I’d love to see a Tigers fan win this year’s Brut Fan of Pride.”

Anyone can be entered for Fan of Pride at www.brut formen.co.uk/superleague with nominations closing at midnight on June 9.

A panel of judges from each Super League club will then select a shortlist of three entries per team to be put to a public online vote.

The overall national Brut Fan of Pride 2014 will be announced and awarded in September and will win £5,000 for their Super League club’s community foundation, two 2015 season tickets to their Super League club, an invitation to the Man of Steel awards, a signed jersey from the Super League club and some fantastic Brut product.
