Full-back Ian Hardman’s second-half touchdown in Sunday’s 62-16 defeat at Huddersfield Giants put him level with former Samoan international centre Misi Taulapapa in the race to be Featherstone’s top try scorer this season.

They both have 14 tries and are well clear of third-placed Kyle Briggs with 10.

Anthony Thackeray and Jamie Cording each have nine, following by Danny Craven with seven and John Davies and Kyran Johnson with six apiece.

Briggs is the leading goalkicker with 40, followed by Jamie Foster with 37.

Meanwhile, a rugby stars summer camp for youngsters aged six to 12 will be held at Featherstone’s Big Fellas Stadium on Thursday and Friday, September 1 and 2, from 9am to 3pm both days.

It is being run by Rovers player Hardman in aid of his testimonial. He will be assisted by Leeds Rhinos and Featherstone community coaches.

There will be guest appearances from Championship and Super League players.

The two-day camp costs £30 per child and includes a T-shirt and stadium tour.
